Tile roofs provide excellent durability and a distinctive style. They are ideal for businesses looking for a traditional or Mediterranean look. Our tiles are available in clay or concrete, offering versatility in style and color.
This asphalt-based option is well-suited for buildings with low-slope or flat roof structures. It offers enhanced tensile strength compared to other flat roof options due to its combination of fiberglass or polyester fiber matting.
Our Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing systems are popular for commercial buildings due to their reflective properties, which help reduce cooling costs and are resistant to ultraviolet, ozone, and chemical exposure.
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing is extremely durable, often lasting 30 years or more. It is highly resistant to weathering, ozone, and UV radiation and is very easy to install, maintain, and repair.
Built-up roofs are one of the oldest and most reliable forms of commercial roofing. Comprising multiple layers of bitumen and reinforcing fabrics, they offer excellent waterproofing capabilities and durability.
Metal roofing systems, including options in copper, steel, and aluminum, provide exceptional durability and can be designed to fit any architectural style. They are highly resistant to extreme weather conditions and provide excellent energy efficiency.

Copper roofing is prized for its long lifespan and the beautiful patina it develops over time. It is also lightweight, recyclable, and has antimicrobial properties.

Steel roofing is known for its strength and durability. It is one of the most recyclable materials on the market, offering both environmental benefits and enhanced energy efficiency.

Aluminum is an excellent choice for commercial roofing due to its corrosion resistance and durability. It is particularly suitable for facilities near saltwater environments.

Shingle roofing is a popular choice for both residential and commercial properties in Oklahoma City, OK due to its affordability, versatility, and ease of installation. Shingle roofs offer a range of options in terms of colors, textures, and materials to suit various architectural styles and functional needs. Here’s a closer look at some specific types of shingle roofs available:

Asphalt shingles are the most common type used in Oklahoma City due to their cost-effectiveness and durability. They are made from fiberglass sandwiched between asphalt and ceramic granules, which provide protection from UV rays and weathering. Asphalt shingles are lightweight and easy to repair or replace, making them a practical choice for many building owners.

GAF shingles are known for their superior quality and longevity. As a leading brand in the roofing industry, GAF offers a wide variety of shingle styles and colors, along with excellent warranties. GAF shingles are designed to withstand severe weather conditions, making them an ideal choice for Oklahoma City’s varied climate.

Atlas Roofing provides shingles that are engineered to resist algae growth and damage from wind and rain. Atlas products are favored for their Scotchgard Protector, which helps maintain the aesthetic appearance of the roof by preventing black streaks caused by algae. This feature is particularly beneficial in Oklahoma City, where humidity can contribute to algae growth.

Architectural shingles, also known as dimensional shingles, are a premium type of asphalt shingle. They are characterized by their extra thickness and distinct, textured appearance that mimics the look of natural wood or slate. Architectural shingles offer enhanced durability and a higher aesthetic appeal, along with improved wind resistance, making them a popular upgrade from standard asphalt shingles in Oklahoma City.

Proper maintenance is crucial to extending the lifespan of your commercial roof. This guide provides essential tips and strategies for maintaining your roof, including regular inspections and timely repairs. Maintaining a commercial roof is essential for prolonging its lifespan and ensuring it continues to protect your property effectively. In Oklahoma City, OK, where weather can be particularly harsh, routine maintenance is even more critical. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you understand the key aspects of commercial roof maintenance and care:
Schedule bi-annual inspections to catch issues early. Inspections should be more frequent if your building is exposed to severe weather conditions or if the roof is older.
Keep the roof clear of debris such as leaves, branches, and dirt. Accumulated debris can retain moisture and lead to water damage or the growth of mold and algae, which can degrade roofing materials over time.
Ensure that gutters, downspouts, and drains are clean and unobstructed. Proper drainage is crucial to prevent standing water, which can cause the roof structure to weaken or leak.
Regularly check the roof surface for signs of wear, such as cracks, blisters, and loose materials. Early detection and repair of these issues can prevent them from escalating into more significant problems.
Address minor repairs promptly to avoid larger, more costly issues in the future. This includes fixing small leaks, sealing around vents and equipment, and replacing damaged or worn flashings.
Work with a professional roofing company that specializes in commercial roofs to perform detailed checks and maintenance. They can identify potential problems that may not be visible to the untrained eye and can offer solutions that extend the roof’s life.
Maintain a log of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. This documentation can help track the roof’s history, plan for future budgets, and provide valuable information for warranty or insurance claims.
Consider adding a reflective coating to your roof to improve energy efficiency. Reflective coatings can reduce cooling costs by reflecting sunlight away from the building, thus lowering the internal temperature.
Ensure that all maintenance and repairs are done in compliance with your roof’s warranty requirements. Using unapproved materials or methods can void the warranty.

I hired First Construction to replace my storm damaged roof with an impact-resistant one in 2016 and … More to replace the roof on the property I was managing in 2017. They did a fantastic job from start to finish and were very professional, courteous, and efficient. They gave me free estimates, explained the different options, and answered all my questions. They completed the work on time and within budget. The new roofs look amazing and are still in create shape after countless hailstorms in Norman. I am delighted with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and effective roofing company.

I called another company at first to figure out why water was getting into my sunroom when it rained. … More They told me that a lot of the shingles would have to be taken off and then replaced down to a certain area which was approximately $4,000 to $7,000. Zoen Finch who is the owner's son is a good friend of a friend of mine. I called him out he took a look at it and he said it's definitely the drip edge and he could get this problem solved for about $700. He came out did the work and I've never had an issue with water getting into my sunroom for the past 3 years. I then needed a new roof in which I got insurance involved. I called Zone again and he met with the adjuster and got my entire roof replaced as well as the decking updated as I have an older house all in the price that the insurance covered. This company is by far the best company for Roofing and Construction. I would recommend them to friends family or anyone as I'm in the service industry too and referrals do make a lot of the difference if you do a good job. This gentleman has helped me out so much that I would refer him to anybody. This summer he's probably going to take a look at my pool house even though I haven't told him about it yet in order to get it updated and revamped as it has a lot of rotting wood due to rain and poor construction. This company is the freaking best, ask for Zoen Finch and he will get your problems resolved as well as be a very respectable hard-working young man.

We're in the middle of a real estate transaction and the buyers required the roof to be replaced … More before we could close escrow---so timing has been important. The first thing I experienced with First Construction Corp was how quickly Caleb responded. His inspection was thorough and pricing was very fair. I asked him to price a couple of extra items on the buyer's list of "to-dos" that could be done at the same time as the roof. Again, he was responsive, accommodating, and gave us a fair price. The project was started quickly and finished quickly. We live out of state, so I've been trying to do all of this remotely. Caleb kept us apprised of his schedule, sent pictures at several times during the roof and gutter replacement, and even took the time to let the buyers contact him to choose the shingle color. Being out of state, I had someone local inspect the roof, gutters, and other work completed by First Construction before I cut the final check. There was not a single issue or complaint. I would whole-heartedly recommend First Construction Corp. Very professional. Well done.

Have questions about commercial roofing in Oklahoma City, OK? Our FAQ section covers all you need to know about commercial roofing services. From choosing the right material for your business to understanding maintenance schedules, our FAQs provide detailed answers to help you make informed decisions. Learn about the benefits of regular inspections, the signs that indicate a need for repair or replacement, and the ways to extend the lifespan of your roof through proper care and maintenance.
In Oklahoma City, the most durable roofing materials for commercial properties include metal (such as steel and aluminum), TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), and EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber roofing. These materials are known for their longevity, resistance to harsh weather, and low maintenance needs, making them suitable for the local climate.
We recommend that commercial roofs in Oklahoma City be inspected at least twice a year, ideally in the spring and fall, to prepare for the seasonal weather changes. Additional inspections should be conducted after significant weather events like hailstorms, tornadoes, or heavy snowfall to ensure any damage is promptly addressed.
Key signs that your commercial roof may need immediate repair include visible leaks or water stains inside the building, obvious damage to the roofing material such as blistering, cracking, or missing pieces, and increased energy costs, which may indicate poor roof insulation. If you notice any of these issues, it’s important to contact a professional roofer immediately to prevent further damage.
Many commercial roofing issues can be effectively repaired, particularly if they are identified early. Repairs can often extend the life of a roof significantly, making it a cost-effective solution. However, if the roof is nearing the end of its expected lifespan or if there are extensive damages, replacement might be more economical and safer in the long run.
The lifespan of a commercial roof in Oklahoma City depends on the material used and the quality of installation and maintenance. Generally, built-up roofs can last 15-20 years, metal roofs can last 30-45 years, and single-ply roofs like TPO and EPDM can last 20-30 years. Regular maintenance and timely repairs are crucial to achieving these lifespans.
